Miranda Lambert‘s husband Brendan McLoughlin has taken an official leave of absence from the NYPD, the department’s Office of the Deputy Commissioner Public Information confirmed to the media without providing the particular reasons.
It may very well be speculated, however, that the couple is taking a well-deserved break.
Currently on tour across North America, the singer posted a picture of herself standing beside her hubby on Lake Tahoe, where she performed last week.
“Lake Tahoe ??…a great show and a few really cool days off!” Lambert captioned a series of pictures of herself at the scenic spot.
Even as Lambert is on the road, she put out two brand-new singles, “It All Comes Out in the Wash” and “Locomotive” earlier this month. “This song is a fun reminder that hard times do eventually pass,” she wrote of the former.
Having released her 7th studio album, Interstate Gospel, in 2018, Lambert confirmed to her hugely enthusiastic fans that she has turned in her upcoming, as-yet-untitled album to her record label for it to be released as soon as possible.
